I'm with you, Alice. I have only manage to retrieve one death certificate of a possible distant relative from Camden city, NJ. That was after having research everywhere for the information that I was try to extract from the death certificate originally. They required the exact date of death as well as the parents names. Fortunately for this particular person, I found their SS#. Once I received the SS# application form for this person, only then could I gain access to the death certificate. From information that I have gathered, I believe that my Great, Grand Uncle moved from Warren county, NC to Camden, NJ. I have already research the possible descendants of this person. I hope that once we gain access to the Camden searchable data base, I can confirm whether this information is corrected or not.
