You know, if someone is thinking about using Ancestry.com, and can't use one of their trial offers for one reason or another, they do offer very reasonable monthly rates which can be enough for those only wanting short term usage, or having financial difficulties. For most researchers, it is their U.S. Records Collections that we are interested in, which includes access to their Census, Birth, Marriage & Death databases for each State, Military Records, and a number of other databases which are very useful. I'm not pushing Ancestry.com on anybody, but just want folks to know there are other options available rather than coming up with large amount of money for an annual subscription.
