This database has been a goldmine to me. I figured some of my SC relatives may be migrated to various parts of NC. So, I did a search with the surname and birthplace as SC. That search has found a sister of my grandfather's. We knew there were 13 children. I have only accounted for 11 of them. The sister was Azra Lee Joines Hanna. She lived in New Haven Ct. One of my great grandparents' son, Henry Joines migrated to New Haven too. According to the death certificate, she was in a car accident in Durham, NC in 1970. The car went off the road and she suffered multiple fractures and wounds. My speculation is that she and her husband, Willie were on their way to South Carolina to visit relatives or either on their way back to New Haven. I checked to see if her husband Willie was deceased and I did not find him. So, now I’m off to see if I can find him or descendants.
