From the WW I Draft Registration records on Ancestry.com

There is an AA Jerome W. Belser, born 31 Mar 1892 in Montgomery, Ala. He is married and is an unemployed waiter living in Detroit, MI as of 5 Jun 1917. So, if this is the same Jerome Belser he may have been married prior to his marriage to Felicia House in 1926.
