[AL] Alabama African American Heritage Book
You are invited to publish your African American family story in the Alabama African American Heritage Book. Current residents, former residents and those with ancestors anywhere in Alabama may submit up to 500 words and one photograph for free. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2009.
The Alabama African American Heritage Book is a project of the Black Belt African American Genealogical and Historical Society (BBAAGHS) and is published by Heritage Publishing Consultants of Clanton, AL. The Heritage Book Committee meets on the first Monday of each month at 4PM at First Baptist Church, 709 Martin Luther King Jr. Street, Selma, AL. The next meeting is Monday, May 5, 2008. All are welcome.
