Correction to previous post. Laura Wise Hazell is related to Julia Taliaferro Hunt Toney, but they are not sisters. Laura Wise Hazell is a sister of Julia's stepmother Hattie Wise Taliaferro.

Laura Wise Hazell, a resident of Chambersburg and Philadelphia, PA, is a sister of Hattie Wise Taliaferro, the second wife of Walker Taliaferro/Tolliver.

Laura and Hattie are sisters who moved with their parents Hannah and Uriah Wise from Fauquier County, VA to Chambersburg, PA about 1872-78. Hattie's husband, Rev. Walker Taliaferro/Tolliver, moved from Caroline County, VA to Harrisburg, PA about 1886-88. Walker, Nancy, and Julia Taliaferro as well as Hattie Wise Taliaferro and Laura Wise Hazell were all born in VA.
