$50 Reward---
Ran away from the subscriber on the night of the 2nd inst. in
Yadkin Co., two negro boys HENRY and MACK.
Henry is dark color, about 21 years old, medium height and size,
his skin under his clothes is rough from a recent attack of chicken pox.
I bought him of J.J. Henagen, of Charlotte, NC, and I suppose he is
trying to make his way to Richmond, VA, as he has twice before
made his way there under the protection of soldiers traveling on the
cars.
Mack is about 17 years old, not tall, and rather chunkey; has a scar
in each temple close to this hair, color almost copper. No doubt
he and Henry are traveling together. I will pay the above reward
for the apprehension of the said boys and their confinement, so that I get
them or their return to me at Huntersville, Yadkin, Co. NC
