$100 Reward

Runaway from the subscriber on Saturday, the 1x day of January last,
my negro man WESLEY, about six feet three or four inches high,
and weighs about 175 or 180 lbs, yellow complected, good
countenance, quite straight, about 21 or 22 years old, and has a
scar on his left foot, left from the cut of an axe. He is considered
by traders a No.1 fellow. I will pay the above reward for the delivery
of said negro to me at TOMS CREEK, or $50 if confined in any jail,
so I might get him. He may be found in Halifax Co, VA, as he was mostly
raised there and purchased of Thos. Tonan, Sr. several years since.
