ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS REWARD
Runaway from the subscriber on the 16thof July last
my boy EVANS. He is between 30 and 35 vears old
and is black ,5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, and will weigh about xxx lbs.
Quick spoken, large full eyes, and shows the whites of them very much;
easily excited, has a scar, think on the right side of his head, just above his xxx
caused by a burn. He has a wife at Soloman Terrxxx, some ten or twelve miles
east of Raleigh. he has baxxx wife at Joseph Fowler's Esq. on Little River and he
been seen there; he also been seen in the neighborhood of Stricklands below or
near Wakefield; he has an uncle in Nash County, near Nashville and I understand
belongs to Mrs. Battle, near that place.
I will pay the above reward for his apprehension and commitment so that I can get him
