I am currently copying old newspaper articles and am hoping it might help someone track their African American ancestors. I've copied several Runaway slave articles, that list name of slave, description, sometimes family members, the owners name, where they lived ,etc. If anyone thinks they might help,
I'll post them.
In the past four days, I've tried to joined at least 4 African American mail lists, and the lists admins don't seem to approve subscriptions, or I'd post them on a mail list.
