There are several KEY points to remember.
1. Narrow the focus. In the beginning, start with one subject or family and expand from there.
2. Interview older relatives. Each persons memory can reveal different parts of the puzzle.
2. Organize your information. Then you can separate what you believe, what you know, and what is still left to discover.
4. Continue to Learn: Network, read a book, take a class, research with a friend or relative.
