[WV] Tornes-Turns-Turner

Hey All,
Is anyone else doing research on this family? In 1900 Wyatt Tornes was a coal miner in Fayette county, Sewell Mountain, West Virginia, 26 years old born about 1874. In 1910 he was listed as Wyatt Turns still a coal miner living on the same mountain and married to Hattie. All 5 children were listed to include a son Harman, a set of twin girls Lorena and Nannie and my Grandmother Annie who was 3 years old at the time. In 1920 the family is still together on the same mountain with the spelling of Turner. In 1930 Hattie is a widow living in the house of Lorena and "Rena's" husband Roosevelt Woods. Nannie is also living in the house as single. Annie is next door married to my Grandfather Frank Crews with their children. These are my father's parents. My father wasn't born until 1931 or 1933. In 1930, Hattie's name is spelled Turns.
Both Wyatt and Hattie state they were born in Virginia as were both their parents.
It's rumored that Wyatt was killed in a coal mine accident, his son Harman may have been killed in that same accident.
Hattie states also that her marriage to Wyatt was her second.
Hill or Hunter could be the first marriage or the maiden names as Nannie stated her last name was Hill in 1930.
I know Frank Crews is from Alleghany county Virginia with a long and very documented history and direct kin to Arthur Lee. Hattie may be from this area as well. Woods is possibly from Alabama.
So, anyone looking for any of these people? Any connections remote or otherwise? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks All,
Toria
