Have you tried the Maryland State Archives in Annapolis? or Maybe the Banneaker Museum also housed in Annapolis? or JSTOR records at your local historical society. If these are not satisfactory perhaps they may be able to get you in touch with a historian from the Anne Arundel County area who may possibly help. There is not much on-line for this topic in that county.
