My great great grandfather, John Thomas Gunter (1824-1895)had two sons, John Thomas and Atlas. Atlas married a Minnie Cotten in 1872. I don't have all the Cottens names in front of me right now. The Alstons are my cousins whose maiden names were Gunter and they married Alston men.I can't give you anymore info on the Alstons because these people are still living. LDennis
