Alabama Death Records 1908-59

Hi,

For anyone who would like to order an uncertified copy of an Alabama death certificate for the years 1908-1959, you might want to check out the website listed below.

Since my father was born and raised in Greene County, Alabama, I sometimes read the message boards at ALGenWeb--Greene County. Earlier this month, a lady posted a message indicating that she can look up and send unofficial copies of Alabama death certificates for the years 1908-59. She charges only $2 per copy and requests a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Since I no longer subscribe to Ancestry.com, I went to the library to access the Alabama Deaths database. I sent what she requested two weeks ago and was very surprised to receive my copies yesterday. She also enclosed a very nice note apologizing for the condition of one of the copies. She explained that the original copy was so faded that she could not make a very good copy.
