If Arkansas County is the "mother" county, I'd like to know the dates that Chicot Co., Clark Co, Drew Co., Hempsted Co., Phillips Co., parts of Desha Co, Independence Co, Jefferson County, Lincoln, Monroe Co., and Phillips Co. were carved out of Arkansas County. Was it in the order shown? Where does Independence County come in? I thought it was formed out of Lawrence Co. in 1820.
