I am looking for information on ARNOLD, Alice or COPELAND,Alice. Last address was Charlotte, NC, 1941. Alice is my grandmother who was born in Clinton or Laurens, SC. She left Clinton at age 17, possibly with Dock Copeland shortly after my mother's birth, April 1916, and was never heard of again according to my mother. My mother was raised by an aunt, Alice's sister, Mary Arnold of Greenville, SC. Someone told my mother in 1941 that her mother Alice was in charlotte. My mother left Greenville to go charlotte to look for her, but never found her. Mom is now 92 and wonders if she has siblings. She just recently begun to talk about her childhood. I would appreciate any information.
