This is the brick wall question.So far
1.Ichecked her marriage record she was married to a James Spriggs in New Orleans LA. On her marriage record Clara Rapp is no longer Clara Rapp but she is listed as Mary Louisa Rapp???? Who is married to a James Spriggs. They are no parent information on either of those two on their marriage license. I checked all the census records after 1860. In the 1870 census she is listed as Clara Spriggs with her husband James Spriggs and children.In 1880 she is listed as Clara Spriggs along with James Spriggs and Children.1890 no information.In 1900 she was living with her son in law and family; she is listed as Clara spriggs.James Spriggs died before 1900. In 1910 she is listed as Clara Spriggs but in 1920 she is listed as Mary Louise Spriggs.1920 is the last year she appears on a census.Iam wondering why she was listed as Clara Rapp on all census records but her real name is Mary Louise Rapp on marriage record.The Catholic church- Holy Name of Mary - says their is no information about Mary Louise Spriggs but Iam going to check with them again. Mary died in 1922 in Louisiana.
