Same with Rowan....Cabarrus and Stanly Counties were often settled by some of the same Black families; usually in some cases if you lived in Rowan, there was perhaps a relative who lived in Stanly. According to my research I think a lot of the Cabarrus County folks drifted into Rowan. Joseph
