No, I'm from Warren County, and my other counties of research are Halifax, Granville, Wake and Nash. Most of those folks were tight-knit little communties who wandered back and forth between the counties. Almost anyone who lived in one, almost surely had close relatives in the other. Maybe it was the same way with Rowan and the surrounding Counties.
