To follow-up on the previous post from my research of the Means who migrated from Elmore County, AL to Gary, IN and Chicago, IL. I phoned the Gary Library and they told me that the Periodicals department accepted requests to scan the full text obituaries and email them to you. You can use the "Ask a Librarian" function on their website. I got the obituaries on the same day I made the request. How sweet is that ! Prior to this, I no information on the sisters in this family who had migrated to Chicago and married.
