I am looking into some past histories of Washingtonians, those whose own families have lived in the Washington, D.C. for many years, like as far back as to the Civil War. Many Washingtonians come from Virginia as well, so they too are usually counted. Many Washingtonias, especially those who were a part of the 1950s, moved into Maryland. What was it like growing up in D.C.?
