[NC] Foy/Foye Albertson TS Duplin Co NC

I researching my Family in Duplin Co NC. They first appear in any historical record in the 1870 Census in Albertson Township Duplin Co NC. Henry Foye(Foy) b 1810 or 1825 d 8/28/1904 Goldsboro Wayne Co. NC. Lucy, Mary, George, Henry Jr, James and William have been born at this time and appear in this Census. Mary is actually the Wife of George. They are the only African American family in that area and are surrounded by Outlaws. I'm wondering if there is a connection between them. Henry Sr is said to have been a slave on a Perry plantation in NC and changed last names from Perry to Foy. I'm wondering if his wife Lucy has a relationship with the Outlaws/Kornegays/Bests families.

Henry, Lucy and Grand daughter Bettie(y) are buried in the Theophilius W Best Cemetery in Goldsboro NC.

Any help is appreciated. "I've hit that brick wall"
