Anyone researching the AUSTEN surname in MS??

Seeking any information on Jake Austen born around 1877, MS. He married my GGA, Susie Cox (Susan Cox).

Susie Cox, b-1864 or 1865, d-1937 in MS, m. Jake Austen. When Susie's niece, Mary Jones passed, Susie and Jake adopted Mary Jones‘ daughter Aline Hopkins. Jake and Susie owned/operated a butcher shop/grocery store on Main Street in Jackson, MS, the 1920s. A family member reports that Jake had a brother named “Scott."

Susie (Cox) Austen and Jake Austen, along with Aline Hopkins (listed as adopted daughter) were found in the United States Federal Census-1930, Vicksburg, Warren, MS.
