The University of Alabama is marking the 40th anniversary of late Gov.
George C. Wallace's stand in the schoolhouse door with a series of events.

The "Opening Doors" events include presentations from many of the people involved in the desegregation event. There will also be a report from activities at the Alabama Legislature as lawmakers get back to the Regular Session.
