Come on, Abbeville, you going to say that there are no families with the names of Evans and Vance? Here's a clue:
Frank Vance Sr. was in his 80s according to Abbeville, S.C. Death Certificate. He died in 1918. His son was Frank Vance Jr. My belief is that he lived in Abbeville all of his life, because he is listed in the 1880 census as well with wife Sophie, daughters Eliza and Mary, sons Allen and Frank Jr.
