For the past two years we have frequently received the question at ADAH,
"Is there a calendar that lists all of the history or history-related
events in Alabama?" The answer was always no, until today.

The Alabama Department of Archives and History happily announces the establishment
of a new interactive "History Events" calendar on our web site. The purpose of the new calendar is to feature events of interest to Alabama's History community. We are looking for your contributions.

Send us your events and we will place them on the calendar. We are looking
for historical society meeting information, genealogical society meeting
information, pilgrimage dates, historical lecture information, annual
meeting dates, cemetery clean-up days, etc.

If an event is history-related, we want to know about it! Raise awareness across the
state about your events and activities! Please keep us posted and we'll
keep Alabama posted.
