HUNG TO A TREE
Thomas Turner (colored), of Orange was hung in Culpeper to an apple tree Friday, the 17th inst., by parties unknown, but supposed to be colored. He was a desperate character and was charged with the murder of his son "Jim Black" No arrests. He had served three terms in the penitentiary.
