I have some slave deeds from Cumberland County, NC (from Thomas McMillan to his daughter/son in 1853 and 1854). Slaves mentioned by name are: Jane (nearly 3 years old); Sarah ( about 22 years of age); Peter (about 32 years of age;) George (about 26 years of age); Margaret (around 23 years of age); and Isaac (about 14 years of age).
I would be happy to provide copies of these deeds to anyone interested.
