Hello,
I am looking for any information on Smith Mosby born 1845 in Virginia. I am not sure what county he was born in. Can anyone offer any advice as to how to go about finding information on him? I don't know if he was born a slave or not. He resurfaces in Pennsylvania in 1860. Could he have been a part of the under railroad?
I'm looking for any advice.
