Negro Couple Find Body of Daughter.
West King, Negro, and his wife were making preparations today to claim
the body of their daughter from a Miami, Fla., funeral home after
attempting unsuccessfully for two weeks to learn the name of the funeral
A letter from the undertaker notifying them two weeks ago that their
daughter had died and asking them to come for the body, was lost by
King's wife while showing it to neighbors and no one remembered the name
of the funeral home.
Telegrams were dispatched to several undertakers in Miami and also the
police but went unanswered until a second letter from the funeral home
was received urging the parents to claim the girl's body. No
explanation of how the girl died has been received.
