I would love to know this too. I have inherited some pieces that are said to have been made by Thomas Day but I am not sure. By looking at his work, the style is the same but don't know if it would have been marked. My grandmother's family was from Mt Airy and had a furniture company there so we are just trying to determine the origination of the furniture.
