I am searching for my family roots. Here is what I have so far.
My greatgrand mother name was Ruth Alberta Garrett she was born 11/28/1914. Family called her '' Berta'', she was born to Juanita and Joe Garrett in Oklahoma, Tulsa. Her mother died in childbirth and she was raised by Eliza, whom Joe married later.
My greatgrand gave birth to a son born July 5, 1931 in Oklahoma, his name was Cleophus Van Adair, he died in 1970.
Cleophus Van Adair married Alice Penelton they lived in Los Angeles, California. They had two children Marchel Adair and Cleophus Van Adair Junior.
I have little information on my great grand mother other she was raised in OKLAHOMA, lived in the cities Tulsa, Atoka and Springtown.
Cleophus Van Adair Senior's father was named Ira Adair but we know nothing of him. Any information would be appreciated.
