Re: [AR] Independence, Ark. Fannie, Mary & Robert Marshall
In Response To: [AR] Independence, Ark. Fannie, Mary & Robert Marshall ()
Ed, I have used, from time to time, one of the methods I used to solve cases. Do an association matrix. Draw rows and columns on a piece of paper (or do it in WORD). List the name of the person (in this case, Fannie marshall) on the top of the page in one of the corner's, but not in one of the rows or columns. Draw vertical lines at the top of each column and list what you know about the person (years, locations, names of others, etc) Then list the person of the same or similar name in the first space of the first row. List what you find about that person in the spaces (columns) immediately to the right of that person's name in the same row as that person's name. Do the same with each additional information find on a person of the same or similar name. When you finish, go to the top of the page in each column and scroll down to see if any of the information is the same or similar. If you get a number of matches, chances are you have made a connection. I hope this helps. (I hope I was able to explain it) Ed Adams
