Actually I am looking for a possible connection within the African American race who may know something about a place called Earle, Arkansas where some of our own people managed to own a lot of property there. One surname strikes at me and that is the name Heilig; John Augustus Heilig. He may have been born about 1870 in North Carolina, but later moved to Arkansas and there he and his family settled, and he purchased stores, etc. Thanks.
