Re: [OH] HENRY PATTERSON Descendants

Anna not sure which House you spoke to, and now you got me curious. Anyway, there was some news about that from one of those newspapers in Cincinnati, Ohio back in or about January 15, 1923. Probably not a big article, and probably at that time may have identified the parties involved as being "colored". From the way it went: Eugene House about 29, colored, went to the residence at 500 George Street, pulled out his gun and shooting began. One man Henry Patterson was shot, but not dead. Eugene however received shots and died on the spot. My mom, now deceased, along with all of theothers related to Eugene House are also deceased. He was my mom's older brother. She and he and four other children were born to Martha and John House in Rowan County, N.C. It is believed that Eugene had a wife named Hazel, but never knew if there were any children out of that union. This is another reason as to my curiosity. The way Henry plays into this I believe that he was a friend to both. Joseph
