[AL] Black Belt AA Genealogy Society Meeting 9/23
The Black Belt African American Genealogical and Historical Society will meet on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room, Magnolia Gardens Apts., 1943 Marie Foster St., Selma, AL. The group's mission is the discovery, collection, organization and protection of the genealogy and history of African Americans in the Alabama Black Belt Region. Anyone with an interest in African American genealogy, family history or the preservation of historical sites particularly in Dallas, Marengo, Perry and Wilcox counties is welcome to attend. Free.
