Thank you so much tony. this is my grandparents great and great,great.The names are spelled much clearer than they were on the census i recieved. But i'm confused. One census says that Robert was born in North Carolina, the one says South Carolina. How do i go on to find out if they were owned and by who. If they were born in one state would they have been returned there for burial or the state they are residing at the time. Where would i start to look for a death certificate or were there any around 1900's. Thank yoou so much for your help. you are the best,Eyvonne.
