John Smith was born in Franklin Co, VA in the 1890's. He left home when he was about 12-13 years old and never came back again. I don't know who he married. I know one of his daughters supposedly married a Dodson/Dotson/Dobson. If you are from Williamson, you might know Billy Lee and his many kids. John Smith was his Uncle. Billy Lee died a couple of years ago. Billy Lee's wife is named Ellen. Billy's mom, Louanne moved to Williamson following her brother.
