I don't know if this will help or not. I'm researching several families in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana--White; Gilmer/Gilmore; and Payne.

There are four Ada's listed on the 1870 Claiborne Parish, LA census all born around 1864/1865.

1. Ada Gilmer, daughter of Stephen and Sisley Gilmer (my family); this family migrated to Hemptead county, Arkansas.

2. Ada Bell; listed in the household of a female identified as M. Bell page 69 Ward 7;

3. Ada Payne; listed in the household of G. & Elizabeth Payne page 57 Ward 7;

4. Ada White; listed in the household with W. & Mary White page 68 ward 7
