I am taking another look at the resourse links that you gave. I have checked many of these before, and have not been able to find my ggf.
He is not listed in the 1870 census of AL or GA. I do have the 1870 CD from Heritage Quest of AA in 1870 census. So I post once a year or so, and maybe someone will see a post and respond. Again thanks for the info, and I will start looking at your State board more often.
