There must be more than two/three persons of color researching names in
Athens, Clarke, Georgia. This is the home of the University of Georgia,
a major university town. Our local library has many documents that may
hold the key to someone's family history. The local newspaper has ads
listing slaves and property for sale during slavery times for
surrounding cities and counties. There must be a family researching the
"Church" family during 1850/1860.
