It seems like I am going on a goose chase for this mysterious great-grandfather of mine, but I need this because he, not Henry Peebles, is my direct ancestor. I believe in no pain, no gain. What is interesting is how this Eugene Cox on this site had a half-brother, who died in McDowell County, West Virginia. Wow!

I will not give up even it takes me years to find out about Eugene Cox and Julia Roberts.
