A sad death among the colored folks. On last Thursday night, Oct. 31st, John and Lucy Butler, a very respectable family of colored folks who own a nice home in H.G. had only two children, both of whom were girls and both grown. About a month ago, Lillian, the oldest girl, died. Now, Leona, the youngest, and the last child they had was buried last Saturday. The mother of these girls has not spared anything that would add to their usefulness and educating them so that they would be fit and qualified for the higher claims and duties of life. We offer sympathy for the sad-hearted parents, more especially the heart-broken mother, to take it to the Lord in prayer. Leona was buried at the New Hope burial ground.
