Dawn, this mystery is getting good! I know now from you a new lead as to the later years as Eugene Cox. I can now take this mystery on location to Arizona.

I am beginning to think that this is the right Eugene Cox, although his birth date is questionable. Whether he was born in 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914 or 1915, I do understand that the record clerks often got it wrong too! Nevertheless, I agree with you that this may be indeed the right Eugene Cox.

Thanks for telling me about Cynthia Righter Lee. Wow, she must have been extraordinary being a Black woman during the 1770s.

Maybe I can get a death certificate from Arizona as well as a copy of his S.S. application, I guess!
