Le Comité program treats black genealogy

In recognition of Black History Month, Le Comité des Archives de la Louisiane is sponsoring a lecture on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Louisiana State Archives on Essen Lane. Judy Riffel will present “Identifying the Last Slave Owner.” This special lecture will begin at 10 a.m. in the Archives Auditorium. The program is free to the public. Registration is not required.
