[NC] Moravians in North Carolina

For anyone who is looking for ancestors in the Rowan/Surry/Stokes County area of North Carolina (around Winston-Salem), the Moravian Church might be an interesting place to look. They kept meticulous records of day-to-day life and they mention people in their Negro Congregation, including births, often by first and last name. There is a 10-volume set of books called the "Records of the Moravians in North Carolina" by Adelies L. Fries that is a translation of a lot of their records ranging from the mid-1700s to the mid-1800s. I have volume 8 (1823-1834) and volume 10 (1841-1851) in my local library and would be happy to do look ups for anyone. If there's a library with a big genealogy section around you, check it out to see if they have a bigger collection of volumes.
