I am seeking sources for possible copies of class pictures taken - 1935
to 1945 at the below primary school. Willing to pay all fees.

Before total "white-flight" and WW-2 years, my relatives had many
families,and friends enrolled in this [Southside] Chicago grammar
school. I attended from kindergarten [1937] to 1943.

James McCosh Elementary School, 6543 S. Champlain Ave., West Woodlawn
neighborhood, Chicago, Illinois.

fyi - A dream of his mother, Millie Till Mobley - Plans are afoot to
rename this [now black] school - Emmett Till Academy. This teenage Civil
Rights-era hate-crimes victim was a McCosh student. His never known
soldier father, Louis Till died during WW-2. Blessings,
