![]() Annual African American Art Festival at STAR ECO Station In honor of African American Heritage Month, STAR ECO Station presents the Annual African American Art Festival on Feb 4th, a compelling, culturally rich, family celebration, with everything from traditional African dance and music, to contemporary creative works by established and emerging visual artists and performers. (PRWEB) January 12, 2006 -- Dance! Drum! Sing! Rejoice! In honor of African American Heritage Month, STAR ECO Station presents the Annual African American Art Festival on Feb 4th, a compelling, culturally rich, family celebration, with everything from traditional African dance and music, to contemporary creative works by established and emerging visual artists and performers. The festival pays homage to the inspirational creative leaders in our community, and gives spotlight to new and rising young talent, some as young as 5 years old. This free festival includes: Live Music Dance Spoken Word Poetry Paintings Sculpture Ceramics Jewelry African Folklore Embroidery World Class Capoeira plus food, vendors, crafts, games & so much more. Also available are paid, naturalist guided tours of the STAR ECO Station, an official exotic wildlife rescue facility, which houses over one hundred species of confiscated and abandoned animals from around the world. The African American Art Festival is Feb 4, 10am-4pm at the STAR ECO Station, 10101 W. Jefferson Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232.
