Kwanzaa festivity
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit will celebrate Kwanzaa. See films, hear storytellers and participate in workshops for children and adults during the seven days, which are defined by the guiding principles of Kwanzaa.

Thursday, noon-2 p.m. Ujamaa (cooperative economics)
Friday, noon-2 p.m. Nia (purpose)
Saturday, noon-2 p.m. Kuumba (creativity)
